I was laughing more about how the dad seems oblivious to everything else going on, because he's working so hard at puffing out his chest. But yes, I get what you're saying here. Awkward is definitely an awkward word. I'm not sure I could answer your question though. One word that conveys an instant image for me is blob. Its simple and yet descriptive.
Hysterical! My fave is the 5th one!! LOL
Those are awesome...I got a nice chuckle out of these...which is a great way to start a thursday
Those pictures were hilarious. The daughter disturbs me most in the one you posted. She seems less like she's posing than the others. But you seem to have a talent for finding interesting pics.As far as awkward, I can't find a word for it, but what about other words that look like what they mean:bedletters(I actually found those online; can't take creative credit)I've always thought error was a weird word, but I think it's more of a sound thing (and perhaps my southern accent). And of course weird is weird because it breaks the "i before e except after c" rule...ok, I must stop.
Our family actually has a similiar set of photos. They are hilarious to view in order because you can see the whole story. My brother goofing off, me laughing, my mother looking angry, my father looking bemused. This progresses until my mother pinches my brother and then you see him crying, my father smiling, and my mother looking like the cat that ate the canary. My other brother looks the exact same throughout it all - bored. I need to dig those out!
