haunting tuesday

Beautiful decay for your Tuesday:

You have to see these gorgeous photos from the book The Ruins of Detroit by Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre, of derelict and abandoned buildings in Detroit. They're so hauntingly beautiful.

But this one, a former public library, just breaks my heart:

You know how I love urban and rural decay, so I HAD to share these. Sad and gorgeous at the same time. Check it out.

This is so bizarre and beautiful. It's incredible to imagine that such places exist in modern America.

By the way, I write a blog that seeks to promote new writers, and I'm seeking submissions. Please feel free to leave a comment with a link to your work.
